Hi. I’m Darina

A russian artist based in Paris. I’ve been working as a background artist for over seven years.
I began with personal childhood illustrations as a hobby and later created artwork for several board games. My passion for backgrounds came as a surprise even to me: at some point I realized that this was where I could truly express myself as an artist, and that I had something to say through environments. I was deeply shaped by my childhood in the village where my grandmother lived in Belarus. My love for nature, attention to detail, and sense of color all come from that place, and I am grateful for it.

In my free time, I enjoy restoring furniture, learning foreign languages, and playing the violin.
And I endlessly replay Morrowind, of course.
